Curious about narrative therapy? Wanting to learn more about narrative practice in therapeutic and/or community work contexts?

Join us for this introductory seminar on narrative practice with David Newman from the Dulwich Centre. The seminar will include a short introduction to narrative practice, with some emphasis on examples of practice; the floor will then be open for questions and discussion.

Date: Tuesday 7th March

Time: 5PM-6:30PM

You can choose to join either:

- In-person - Building 189 (LIMITED SPOTS); or

- Via Zoom.

(please note David Newman will be delivering the seminar via Zoom).

For students joining us in-person, there will also be some light catering.

David Newman lives and works in Sydney. He works part time in a psychiatric unit for young people and has an independent counselling practice. David has recently taught in Turkey, Hong Kong and Palestine. He is currently passionate about working with those who are struggling with suicidal experience, narrative approaches to mental health work and the possibilities of group work. He is the author of the influential paper ‘Rescuing the said from the saying of it: Living documentation in narrative therapy’.
