About the event

As a social work student, do you know that your rights are just as important as your responsibilities?

Join us on May 11th for a zoom session with VAHPA (Victorian Allied Health Professionals Association) to discuss what your rights and responsibilities should look like during your placement.

This workshop will explore what you should expect from your placement, how to advocate for yourself, and what rights you have if something goes wrong.

All allied health students at the Melbourne School of Health Sciences are welcome to attend.

Although the workshop has been designed for social work students, there will be elements of the discussion that are highly relevant to other allied health students. There will also be question time for all allied health students to discuss issues within their own discipline.

We are pleased to be joined by Linda Jenkin and Harvey Watts from the Disability, Diagnostic & Primary Care+…

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land we meet, work, study and live upon, and we would like to pay our respects to Elders past and present. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
