ABOUT THE ROLE
Working with UMSU staff and elected student representatives and operating under the Manager of Advocacy and Legal, this position is accountable for developing, administering, and delivering primary prevention sexual assault and harassment programs at UMSU.
Your Key Accountabilities will include:
Overseeing risk assessment and mitigation in UMSU Clubs and Societies' activities
Delivering workshops to student groups and leaders
Providing advice to student representatives on campaigns and initiatives
The Sexual Harm Response Coordinator is a key member of the UMSU Advocacy & Legal Team and provides expertise and guidance to UMSU Staff, students, and the broader University community.
This is a 0.4 (14 hours per week), fixed-term (4 months) position with a starting base salary of $88,733.36 FTE (pro rata) plus superannuation.
